Work Health and Safety
-
It is the responsibility of both the support worker and person receiving support (or their representative) to make sure the environment is safe for everyone. It may be the person’s home, but it is also a workplace.
-
Identifying Risk and Hazards:
- Individuals receiving support can identify potential workplace risks or hazards during the platform sign-up process or when engaging a worker.
- Workers can also assess risks and hazards during home visits, collaborating with the individual to manage any concerns or notifying Aided Hearts management of any issues.
-
Reporting Work Health and Safety Incidents:
In the event of an incident, it can be reported to Aided Hearts through our incident report form, email, or by phone. We will thoroughly investigate the matter and, if required, escalate it to the appropriate authority.
