Protecting Your Rights and Wellbeing at Aided Hearts

At Aided Hearts, we respect your human rights and are committed to protecting them every time you use our platform.

Your safety is our top priority. We are dedicated to making sure you are never exposed to abuse, neglect, or exploitation while accessing support through Aided Hearts.

Here’s how we help keep you safe:

  • We follow strict recruitment and onboarding standards for all care and support workers, including:

    • Criminal background checks

    • NDIS worker screening and exemption checks

    • Referee checks

    • A detailed onboarding and induction process, especially for workers providing disability support

  • If a concern about abuse or neglect is reported to us, we will act quickly, with care and professionalism.

    • If the issue is serious, we will report it to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and/or the relevant authorities.

We also encourage you to:

  • Share your feedback and let us know if you have any concerns about the platform or any of the workers.

  • If you find it difficult to raise an issue on your own, you are welcome to involve a support person to help communicate with us.
